They are completely non-functional. As proof, I present the glass shards that line the alleyway. These shards originate from the panes of the broken lamps.: Those glass shards could have come from anywhere.: You could send one of your underlings to see the broken lamps for themselves, if you want.: And waste more time? I think not.
Falcon shows up late to the Aviary Attorney office and receives a letter from Seigneur Purrtoir Demiaou asking for legal help for his daughter, Dame Caterline, wrongly accused of murder. Your assistant, Sparrowson, asks if you'll be taking the case. If you respond "Of course!" you will proceed to La Conciergerie, the prison where Caterline Demiaou is being held. If you choose "Nope" Sparrowson will challenge you to a game of Jacques-noir (Blackjack) where you try to get closer to 21 when drawing cards than the dealer. Sparrowson will always win, and you'll head over to La Conciergerie anyway.

Sparrowson asks if you'll take the case; either refusing or accepting will ultimately lead to taking the case anyway, but if you choose "Nope" you will play a card minigame "Jacques-noir," or blackjack.

The catacombs are pitch-black and you can't see where you're going. Whatever path you choose to follow, you end up in a lit room where the lionness Beaumort is trying to get information out of Séverin, who they caught spying on the rebellion. But Beaumort has her own grudge as her father stole some vegetables to feed her and was sentenced to prison by Séverin, where he died. Just as she's about to declare him guilty, you have the option to speak up or stay silent.
Note: if you failed to get a Not Guilty verdict during the first trial and continued playing, Baron Rorgeuil takes the place of Caterline during the fourth act. Everything else remains the same.
If you fail to secure a Not Guilty verdict for Caterline Demiaou, she never confesses that she's the real killer and is executed. Falcon spends the next day drinking at Canard Joyeux not because he still believes in her innocence, not because Rorgeuil was convicted and set to be executed instead. In Falcon's dream after being thrown in the Seine, she asks him "Why did you fail me?" If you go to the Chateau during Chapter Three and speak to Couline, she'll say that the Baron is capable of managing the household on his own instead of saying she's leaving with him being gone now. In ending 4A, if Caterline was executed instead of Rorgeuil, the Viridian Killer blows him up instead and Beaumort is charged with his murder instead of Caterline's. Everything else about 4A stays the same.

It will sound impossible but quail chicks hatch from an egg, grow to their adult size, mature and begin laying eggs in just 8 weeks. Some springtime hens can even accomplish it in 6 weeks. (Celadon quail tend to need 10 weeks to come into lay.) If you bring home started quail that are already 3 weeks old, your wait for eggs is nearly halfway over.
Just like chickens, quail can help turn your kitchen scraps into eggs! They just can’t handle all your kitchen scraps. Instead offer ¼ to ½ cup of mostly leafy greens, slices of cucumber, zucchini, squash, and berries. Leaves from garden tomato and potato plants are toxic to them. Nightshade leaves and stems should not be given. Parsley, onion, garlic and raw potato are also on the do not feed list for quail.
Quail need a higher protein diet than chickens. It is generally understood that quail chicks need 24% or higher protein feed and adult laying hens need 18% protein chicken laying feed. (Many quail keepers feed 16% chicken laying crumbles to their quail with a little bit of 30% Game Bird crumbles mixed in.) You have several options of what you can feed chicks: 24% chick starter, 30% Game Bird crumbles, turkey polt feed and general quail feed all have the necessary protein amounts required.
