Seems great, but empty promises

It's a good place to work initially, but the people are toxic and will use you like a washcloth. The toxicity affects the job performance because you are not valued and there is no room for growth. You can apply for different positions within, but your resume will not be selected if your not extremely sociable.

Just okay

It’s a state job so the benefits are the main plus. Not super political like one would think but the atmosphere is very clicky and supervisors are a lot of times against their employees.

Not the best place to work

Pay made it hard to stay. I also didn’t really learn much after a while and needed to look elsewhere. I’m glad I found a job that pays me well. Haven’t looked back.

Stable, I can take leave generally when I want to or need to, benefits are good (ASRS is a killer though!).#N#That being said, the office is very much behind the times concerning technology and general office/workplace operations.

This job was my highest achievement in my legal career because it was necessary to have good-office skills and knowing medical and legal verbiage thus using my prior years of study in the Medical Profession as well as in the Legal Environment of Business.

The Office makes an effort to retain good employees. There’s flexible hours, remote work opportunities, room to grow and advance. And stand-up desks! The benefits are excellent. Everyone works hard and there is always a heavy workload, but it is the nature of a law office. You are helping people by working here.

Lousy place to work

The pay is set by the state and is very low, with low chance to make an advancement. Some individuals who were considered "successful" had been there for 10 years and were still on food stamps and Medicaid because they were below the poverty line. That's not a joke or an exaggeration, the state pay models are open to the public to look up.

Great Experience but Overworked and Underpaid

You definitely get a lot of experience in law and working with people of a variety of backgrounds in various situations. Nothing is ever really the same and the cases are interesting. If you get along with your co-workers, there's also a good morale amongst your team.

The typical government environment. “Please, tell us how we can improve but just know we won't do anything about it.” A lot of work and not a good pay

This office is overly supervised. People get away with all sorts of things, if they are considered a favorite. If you are not a favorite, you are targeted for several different things. I would not recommend it.

Great internship

I enjoyed my time as an intern. I wish there could be some form of compensation, but I learned a lot, had great mentors, and will be keeping in contact with them in my future endeavors.
