The final trial of Gregory Edgeworth was the year-long trial of Jeff Master, in which he faced the veteran prosecutor with a perfect record, Manfred von Karma. Despite losing, Edgeworth managed to prove that von Karma had blackmailed Master into confessing to being an accomplice to the murder of Isaac Dover.

She pushed for legislation to change that and in November 2020 Daniel's Law was signed by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. A similar bill was introduced in Congress last year. "I am profoundly moved by seeing how Mark and Esther are dealing with this unspeakable event," says Anderl family friend David Oakley.

Daniel Anderl, 20, took a bullet to his chest trying to protect his parents. By the time Judge Salas came to the door, the killer was gone. Her husband, Mark, was wounded.
Judge Esther Salas was the state's first Latina federal judge.
There is no publicly known evidence that Roy Den Hollander harmed anyone other than the known victims, but investiga tors were unnerved to find papers in his car with yet more names, including other judges and people in the medical field.

Chicago, May 13 – A shocking and fatal accident occurred in the Sherman House elevator this afternoon, Anton Soogey the engineer of the house, having the upper portion of his head completely torn off by being caught between the floor of the basement and the counter balance of the elevator. A fatal elevator accident occurred yesterday morning in the new Bryant Building, at the#N#north-west corner of Nassau and Liberty streets,which resulted in the instant death of Gustav Schiff, a plate and window glass dealer. whose place of business is at No. 35 Murray street. Philadelphia, Nov. 10 – Alexander Hexter senior member of the firm Hexter & Brothers clothing manufacturers 432 Market Street, met death in a horrible manner this afternoon. At 2:45 o’clock the unfortunate man, who had been working on the first floor,started to go to the fourth floor on the elevator, which was partly loaded with a lot of unfinished clothing. While the elevator was passing from the second to the third floor, he stooped over to speak to an employee and before he could escape, his head was caught between the elevator and the ceiling. Complete decapitation followed. The firm of Hexter & Brothers was formed of Alexander and his brother Samuel. Alexander was the senior member. He was married and resided at 1813 North Broad Street.
