Griffin, 46, and worth $5.5 billion, said that he was the largest single investor in Aragon after their marriage in 2005 until Dec. 31, 2009, accounting for 70 percent of the capital in 2006. The fund lost 5 percent in 2010 and 11 percent in 2011, causing Griffin to exit the fund in 2011.
