Thurston portrays Blue Eyes in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Here, Thurston plays the role of a young, rebellious, and stubborn ape. This is Thurston’ s first experience with a blockbuster movie, as all of his prior experience was with small scale, low budget indie productions.
In a film inspired by true events, Nick Thurston Stars as Jay Trotta, a witty, young ex drug abuser who has just been liberated from prison. Now sober, Jay plans to make his way in the world in a respectable way, staying away from the drugs that landed him in prison. Eventually, after a good deal of time and hard work, Jay becomes the partial owner of a newly founded Hookah Bar. Eventually, Jay's past catches up with him, and he gets involved with the selling of a new drug disguised as incense, avoiding legal trouble by labeling the drug as "not for human consumption".
Thurston plays the role of Brian Leary, the primary protagonist in White Irish Drinkers. Here Thurston plays an artistic young man, who is misunderstood and underappreciated by his family and friends, who find themselves content with labor intensive work, and have no aptitude to go on to higher education. Brian, surrounded by a dreary reality, finds an escape in his art. This escape allows Brian to avoid the life of crime his brother has chosen, and to block out the problems that life has presented to him. "The Observer describes Brian as " a boy with a conscience who turns the basement room under the bagel shop in his parents’ building into a secret art studio, where he creates impressionistic charcoal drawings and watercolor sketches of the city around him, donning headphones to drown out the noise and shouting between his parents."
If Lucious' laywer is as ruthless as Royo makes him out to be, Thristy would probably stop at nothing to get the charges dropped — including making whatever evidence that exists disappears.
Along the same lines, Thirsty could have some witnesses magically appear that will make Lucious look innocent.
Everyone's got a dream — and what if Thirsty's real ambition was music? Perhaps he and Lucious make a deal: Thirsty can defend Lucious in exchange for a record deal or at least some recording time at Empire Entertainment.
On most TV shows, the presence and casting of a lawyer usually means a TV show is headed to court room. Thirsty could be defending Lucious to a jury.
Maybe Thirsty isn't Lucious' lawyer for court or crime — perhaps he's needed so Lucious can better communicate with the Lyon family from jail. It'll be a lot easier for Lucious to help run Empire Entertainment if he has a representative at that board room table. After all, as we saw in the premiere, Jamal's having a hard time juggling it all.
If Thirsty has a shady past, he may still be involved in questionable dealings in the present.
University of Miami ( JD) Perry Eugene Thurston Jr. (born January 30, 1961) is an American politician who has served as a member of the Florida Senate since 2016. He represents the 33rd district, which includes Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, North Lauderdale, Margate, Oakland Park, and surrounding areas in Broward County.
In late 2012, Thurston confirmed that he was considering running against Republican Attorney General of Florida Pam Bondi in 2014, and at the annual convention of the Florida Democratic Party in October 2013, he announced that he was running, declaring, "I will be a candidate for attorney general in November 2014. I look at the attorney general's position as the people's attorney, and I think that we need, Florida can do better. I think we need an attorney general who's going to focus on health care needs of Florida citizens, not necessarily some national agenda." Thurston, however, is also a candidate for the Florida Senate in 2016, when State Senator Chris Smith is term-limited. When asked about how his Senate candidacy impacts his Attorney General campaign, he said, "I will not be running for the Senate once I win this election in 2014," but, when asked about whether he would run for the Senate if he loses, noted, "I have not made a decision about that, but I fully expect to win in 2014."
Thurston was born in Pompano Beach and attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance in 1982. After graduation, he returned to Florida, where he worked in banking until he decided to attend the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated in 1987.
