The title and refrain of the song refers to the first moments of a child's life; as Cherry put it, "not knowing about the problems and violence in our world".
The show is set in Jersey City, though it was largely filmed elsewhere. The Jersey Journal reached out to some locals to get their thoughts — and we let them keep their comments anonymous so Netflix won't hit them with endless buffering.

As the defense puts Brenton's character on trial, KJ gives a powerful opening statement and Isaiah delivers unexpected testimony.
According to Ashitey, the complexity of her character is part of what makes her story so powerful. It allows her to be seen as a real-life super hero as opposed to the fantastical images portrayed in projects like Black Panther.
For Ashitey, who was born and raised in London and raised by Ghanaian parents, there was a steep learning curve while preparing for this role.
While the subject matter of Seven Seconds is dark and intense, there were some happy moments on the set and one of the highlights for Ashitey was getting to work with Regina King.
Joining her is British actress and Doctor Foster star Clare-Hope Ashitey, who portrays the prosecutor in KJ Harper.
A plot synopsis for Seven Seconds reads: “In an instant, life is forever changed for Brenton Butler and his family.
Best known for Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, The Nice Guys and Super 8, Beau Knapp plays the difficult role of Officer Peter Jablonski, the policeman who accidentally hits Brenton but leaves him to die.
On his portrayal, Sud reflected: “Russell came at the role of Isaiah Butler with such a clarity of purpose – I am raising a child into a man in an unkind world – and how such a man grapples when that life is taken away in a matter of seconds and then has to watch his wife, an entire life he’s built with his own two hands, fall away.
Other cast members include Corey Champagne as Kadeuce Porter, Nadia Alexander as Nadine and Michelle Veintimilla as Maria Jablonski.
Star of Public Morals, Patrick Murney takes on the role of Officer Gary Wilcox and serves as the comic relief in this dark series.
David Lyons of Truth and Game of Silence fame is police Officer Michael DiAngelo, who is said to be the “darkest” character of the whole drama.
