Joseph Andrew Staley (born August 30, 1984) is a former American football offensive tackle who played his entire career for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the 49ers in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Central Michigan .
Staley is married to former professional soccer player Carrie Dew. They have two daughters, Grace and Audrey. He has hosted a video blog known as the "Joe Show" for the 49ers website.
Staley helped pave the way for true freshman Ontario Sneed to run for 1,065 yards and earn Freshman All-America honors. Staley was invited to play in the 2007 East–West Shrine Game and he was named a preseason All-MAC First Team selection by Athlon Sports and MAC Report Online.
