Rittenhouse faced six criminal charges and was accused of murdering Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber as well as injuring Gaige Grosskreutz. On November 19, 2021, Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges.
Apologizing to the court for his language, Rittenhouse said Joseph Rosenbaum was walking down the street with his chain and screamed, “If I catch any of you (expletives) alone I’m going to (expletive) kill you!”

The judge won't allow the state to link Rittenhouse to the extremist group "Proud Boys."Against the state's wishes, video of officers thanking armed civilians will be allowed.In the state's favor, the judge blocked the defense from bringing up victim Joseph Rosenbaum's criminal past."Their behavior that night has nothing to do with this case unless it was witnessed by the defendant," Binger said Monday. Binger also cannot call the men who were shot, "victims.""I disagree. I think the state should be allowed to use it. We have a statute called the victim's rights law. We have a constitutional amendment. Our officers work very hard to protect the people who are victims of crime," Binger said.Come Monday, Rittenhouse's fate will be in the hands of a jury.

Bruce Schroeder, 75, is the longest-serving circuit court judge in Wisconsin, and is known for running a strict courtroom.
