In addition to Reiser, attorneys working under Postema now include Arianne Slay, who ran for county prosecutor last year, Kevin McDonald, Margaret Radabaugh, Tim Wilhelm, Christopher Frost and Betsy Blake. Feeling he has assembled a strong team, Postema said it’s time to carefully plan filling his own position.
In 2016, Postema assured council he would stay in his position until at least July 2020 and provide at least one year’s notice before retiring. That was to assure council he would complete a succession planning process for several positions in his office.
