What is the role of the Rockdale County District Attorney?

It is the duty of the Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office, under my leadership, to represent the State of Georgia in the prosecution of crimes that occur in Rockdale County. This representation occurs in the Magistrate, Juvenile, State, and Superior Courts of Rockdale County. The Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office has the unique distinction of being the only DA’s Office in Metro-Atlanta that is responsible for the prosecution of all felony and all misdemeanor crimes committed within its Circuit.
