The Columbia County District Attorney is an elected office with a term of four years. The District Attorney prosecutes on behalf of the people of Oregon and does not represent or give legal advice on behalf of individual citizens.
The District Attorney’s Office staff is composed of the District Attorney, First Assistant District Attorney, 2 Assistant District Attorneys, 3 Legal Secretaries and 2 Victim/Witness Coordinators.
The District Attorney’s Office is dedicated to prosecuting all crimes occurring within Columbia County in a fair, efficient and cost-effective manner while ensuring that offenders are held accountable for their criminal conduct and the interests of victims are represented through the criminal process.
