President Elizabeth Burmaster has announced the 2019 recipients of the Frederick Community College President’s Business Appreciation Awards. These annual awards recognize business and non-profit partners for their commitment, contributions, and support of the College mission and its students.
The Ausherman Family Foundation will award the Frederick Community College Foundation $30,000 in grant funding to provide scholarships to students in trade programs and offer emergency financial assistance to students who need it through the Student Success Fund.
Frederick Community College has been chosen to participate in a mentoring program sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the American Association of Community Colleges that will provide expert guidance and assistance with technological education grant proposals.

Adam Moezaw first heard about the Early College Program last year, when he was a sophomore at Frederick High School.#N#The new program at Frederick Community College allows high school students to earn their high school degree and an associate degree simultaneously by attending FCC full time during their junior and senior years.
