STEPHENS II APPOINTED ACTING ESSEX COUNTY PROSECUTOR: On Tuesday September 4, 2018, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy appointed Theodore Stephens II to serve as the Acting Essex County Prosecutor. Acting Prosecutor Stephens will be formally nominated by the Governor to serve as Essex County Prosecutor, subject to confirmation by the state Senate.
