In this role, we defend and institute civil matters concerning county government, provide legal advice to county government, and collect delinquent real estate taxes. The Lewis County Traffic Safety Program is a diversion program for traffic violations.
The District Attorney is a county-wide elected official serving a four year term whose duties are to prosecute all felonies, misdemeanors and violations perpetrated against the citizens of Lewis County.
