Sharon Wilkins is an American actress born in Newburgh, New York and makes her home on the Upper Westside of Manhattan. She has played a number of roles on Broadway and in film and does some commercial work as well.
She has been featured in the National Tour of Xanadu The Musical. She has also made appearances in three Broadway musicals, beginning with The Life in 1997, followed by Seussical in 2000 and All Shook Up in 2005.
Sharon was born on 13 of May in 1955, in Newburgh, New York. She is 66 years old.
She was featured as Clarice in the film, Maid in Manhattan, a 2002 American romantic comedy-drama film directed by Wayne Wang and based on a story by John Hughes, who is credited using a pseudonym. The film stars Jennifer Lopez, Ralph Fiennes, and Natasha Richardson.
She also had a recurring role as Mrs brown in TV show Wonderland a 2000 ABC television drama directed by Peter Berg, which depicted daily life in a mental institution, from the perspectives of both the doctors and patients.
In 2003 she was cast as Janace Tashjian in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit an American crime drama television series created by Dick Wolf for NBC. Mariska Hargitay stars in the film as Olivia Benson, the lead detective of the Special Victims Unit in a fictionalized version of the 16th Precinct of the New York City Police Department.
She also played the role of a Probation Officer in the series Switched at Birth, an American teen/family drama television series that premiered on ABC Family on June 6, 2011, at 9:00 ET/PT.
