First of all, Krishna is the one who actually called and hired Jane Ramos.
Krishna turned herself in as the person implicating Petra in Anežka's murder. However, this was not true. In the season 4 finale, we learn that the actual blackmailer was threatening her family. She calls JR from jail to warn her that Petra is going to be hurt by the actual blackmailer.

Anežka Archuletta † Unfortunately, this is a ruse concocted with an imprisoned Magda to get money. Anežka poisons Petra, who is left in paralysis, and takes over her life but after a few months, Petra escapes her prison and Anežka is thwarted.
However, Petra eventually realizes the person they all thought was Aaron was actually Roman all along and he reveals to her how he murdered Aaron in order to fake his own death.

As it turns out, Rafael (Justin Baldoni), Jane's (accidental) baby-daddy, is not a Solano. In Monday night's episode we found out that Rafael was actually adopted. We even got a glimpse at Rafael's birth certificate, which says he was born in Italy.

Jane Ramos Didn't Shoot to Kill Surprisingly, the two realize it is Miloš Dvoracek, Petra's ex-husband from Olomouc, Czech Republic.
