Externship programs provide students the chance to be part of a district attorney’s office, and may include contacting witnesses, attending trials and other court proceedings, conducting and analyzing legal research, writing legal motions and supporting the attorneys in their prosecution of cases in areas including Homicide, Gangs, Crimes against Children, Robbery and others.
