There are a few moments that simply cannot be as impactfull when not in a game format. Also the anime suffers from limited screentime, so the cases and the cast aren't as fleshed out as in the games. There are a few changes for a better and some good ideas, while Turnabout Promise is very much enjoyable, but overall i wouldn't recomend the anime over the games.
