In July 2014, a class action (PDF) was filed in federal court in California by Amy Friedman, a woman who lost up to one-third of her hair after using WEN Cleansing Conditioner in “Sweet Almond Mint” for only two weeks. Friedman says the hair loss continued for three weeks after she stopped using the product.
