Participants should wash hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer before participating. Participants should bring their own source of water and refrain from using any communal sources of hydration (e.g., team water or sports drink jug). No handshakes at the beginning or end of games and practice.
Any downgrade into Phase 3 or lower will result in the suspension or cancellation of the season (a full or pro-rated refund will be given, depending on where we are in the season when the downgrade occurs). In Phase 4, there are guidelines that the DeKalb Park District must adhere to.
Practices will be held at least once per week, potentially more, depending on the coach and field availability. There will be 1 game per week.
Recommended that all equipment is sanitized before and after each use . All communal athlete equipment, such as catcher's gear, will be required to be sanitized before and after each use. The Park District will provide disinfectant that shall be used to sanitize equipment.
