A former Montgomery attorney was sentenced this week to three years in federal prison for a scheme that defrauded more than $1 million from the United State Department of Housing and Urban Development. Christopher Pitts, 48, was sentenced to 37 months for the wire fraud scheme, which Pitts ran between 2005 to 2008.Nov 8, 2018
