JFA cases may not be connected in terms of plot, but they are connected thematically and with respect to character development. The main narrative thrust of AA2 is Phoenix’s struggle in figuring out what it means to be a defense attorney. 2-2 and 2-3 both present you with sympathetic murderers (and in 2-2, an asshole victim).

Phoenix Wright is a starter playable character in Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo Switch. He is the main protagonist of the Ace Attorney series, and was announced when the Ace Attorney Trilogy for the Nintendo Switch was revealed.

Justice for All is a visual novel adventure game in which the player takes the role of Phoenix Wright, a defense attorney who defends people accused of murder in four different episodes. At first, only one episode is available; as the player solves a case, a new episode is unlocked to play.
