In my experience, the best way to handle this situation is to send an email to your attorney and the paralegal team and let them know your concerns. Keep in mind that you not only want to get your case filed, but you want everything reviewed carefully and done correctly.
Unless you have a “volume” practice where you send out mailers or help fund Google AdWords and undercut your colleagues $500 so you can get the case, you’re going to have slow months.
Dec 02, 2013 · If you have communicated your desire for a quick process (not that you can get the Courts to move any quicker) and you have not received a satisfactory response from your attorney, then you may want to consider switching counsel or making your expectations and desires clear to your current attorney in writing.
It's your absolute right to fire your lawyer at any time for any reason. Give it serious consideration if you're convinced the lawyer is doing a bad job or if your relationship with the lawyer has become intolerable. But dumping a bad lawyer can be expensive. If you hire a new lawyer, you'll have to pay him or her to get up to speed on your case.
