I would recommend: Apollo Justice -> Investigations 1 -> Investigations 2 -> Dual Destinies -> Spirit of Justice. Investigations are actually pretty important spinoffs as they continue off the trilogy more directly than the main series does, plus Investigations 2 puts most of the main series to shame with it's god-tier cases.

While this is not the first time an Ace Attorney game has been officially released on a system that is not from Nintendo, this is the first time it has been released on a non-Nintendo home console system, as well as the first time a non-Japanese version has been released on PC.
