CENTRE, Alabama -- A Cherokee County jury Tuesday found former attorney Rodney Stallings guilty of first degree theft from the state's Fair Trial Tax Fund, Attorney General Luther Strange announced. Sentencing is set for Jan. 5 next year. Stallings faces up to 20 years in prison.
