Sonny is played by Maurice Benard and Carly is currently played by Laura Wright. Sonny and Carly were together, on and off, from December 1999 to April 2007. They have been married four times and reunited in 2008, 2010 and most recently in 2014.

Alexis woke up in the driver's seat and was surprised to see Chase. Tracy claimed she had driven the alcoholic home but when she went to make her some coffee, Alexis had tried to drive off while intoxicated. Chase arrested Alexis and took her down to the station for a breathalyzer test to determine the charges.
In 2014, Tracy and Luke get married. Tracy later got the marriage annulled when she thought she was married to Faison. In May 2017, Tracy leaves Port Charles and is last seen running into Luke in Europe. They are later said to be living together in Amsterdam.
She was a more involved mother to Ned's much younger half-brother, Dillon. Tracy took Dillon with her to Europe to avoid being charged with a hit and run accident and to keep Dillon's father, Paul Hornsby , from taking custody.

Sarah Brown originated the role in 1996, and when she left GH in 2001, she was replaced by Tamara Braun. After her exit in 2005, the role was briefly played by Jennifer Bransford until Laura Wright took over the part she continues to play to this day.

After Lulu was almost murdered, Sonny became determined to bring Dante home from his secret mission to reunite him with the family who needs him. But things got complicated when Carly revealed that she was pregnant again, and he worried about her health because the pregnancy was so high-risk. Dante left town again to deal with his PTSD, and Dev Circi, the teen who had helped Sonny in Turkey, showed up in Port Charles looking for sanctuary.

Unfortunately, a hallucinating Sam shot Sonny and left him for dead and the ghost of Stone inspired Sonny to fight for his survival.
