received a letter from my credit card company with the subject: ATTORNEY PLACEMENT PENDING. It said they have been authorized to proceed with legal action to secure the balance I currently owe them and that if I don't contact them by a certain date my account "will be forwarded to an Attorney to obtain a judgement against me".
