After reports of voter fraud surface, Landau reveals to Alicia that he rigged the voting machines in order to preserve the Democratic supermajority in the Illinois state legislature. However, in order to maintain the façade of a fair election, Landau forces Alicia to resign.
In Season 6, Alicia also starts running for State's Attorney and develops a friendship with prosecutor Finn Polmar. She is successfully elected but has to step down due to false accusations.
Whether or not he was recently sleeping with Ramona is still unknown, but he hints to Alicia that he was definitely sleeping with her in the past (you know, when Alicia was pregnant with Grace).Nov 16, 2014
Cary and Alicia Florrick ultimately formed their own law firm in Season 5, Florrick, Agos and Associates. In Season 7 episode 18 "Unmanned", after having enough with office politics, Cary quits Lockhart, Agos and Lee.
After being let out of prison on house arrest, Peter immediately starts plotting his political comeback. He is re-elected State's Attorney, defeating Wendy Scott Carr.
Kalinda, in turn, admitting that she's "not very good at talking," tells Alicia, "My time with you, as your friend, was the best I've ever had. And I'm sorry. I'm really sorry that things got messed up." As she gets up to leave, Alicia, who later burns Kalinda's note, asks if she'll ever see her again.May 11, 2015
