A Complete Fan Translation has Rescued Ace Attorney Investigations 2 from Localization Limbo. Rejoice, fans of anime-style Law and Order: Miles Edgeworth's second game is now fully playable in English.
Capcom has no plans to localize Ace Attorney Investigations 2.
While previous Ace Attorney games feature defense attorneys Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice as the lead characters, Ace Attorney Investigations features prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, who was Phoenix's rival in previous games.

Capcom has rated an unannounced game titled The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles in Taiwan, for PS4, Switch, and PC, pointing at a localization of Dai Gyakuten Saiban.
The nickname "Nick" (used by his partner, Maya Fey) was chosen based on its believability and similarity to the sound of "Phoenix".

As of moments ago, our very own Auryn and company have finished and released the full translation of the game Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - Prosecutor's Path. According to Auryn, the patch would cover the entire game and would later be updated to correct the minor issues that people come across in their playthrough.
That's the only way to go, I fear. At any rate, I find it odd that these issues haven't been mentioned in nds-bootstrap's issue tracker. By the way, I made an APFix patch based on the one available around; it is to be applied after the English V2 Final one with xdelta3, and solves the garbled text issue on DSiMenu++.
There is but it's hard to explain. I had this same problem but I can't exactly explain how I fixed it. What you need is to first download a rom patcher.

Remember to keep a copy of the clean ROM for future patches (we have yet to decide if we will make a progressive patch or you will always need to use a clean ROM.
