Bags (Sarah's dog) shows his jealous side by barking as the couple kiss and caress and fall onto various pieces of furniture. Then Tom lies on the couch, but the dog continues barking at him. When Tom gets up from the couch and begins to exit, the dog, still barking at him, jumps up on the couch and takes Tom's place.
Charming, relatively poor, somewhat goofy Tom falls in love with haughty snob tycoon McNerney's spoiled daughter Sarah, who was destined for a more socialite match, such as slick Peter Prentiss. They still get married and fly to Europe for a romantic honeymoon Tom can't afford.
Before filming the scene with the car buried in the snow, Brittany Murphy and Ashton Kutcher had an argument which helped them get through the scene without breaking out into laughter.

A few months later, despite opposition from Sarah's rich family, they get married. Each has kept one secret from the other: Tom doesn't tell Sarah that he accidentally killed her dog and Sarah doesn't tell Tom that she slept with Peter Prentiss, a childhood family friend, after she and Tom started dating.
Sarah gets drunk so Peter takes her back to the hotel. When he kisses her at the entrance, she slaps him and reminds him that she's on her honeymoon. Tom sees the kiss from the balcony but not the slap. When Tom confronts her in their room, Sarah finds Wendy's bra.
Arriving at their classy hotel at the foot of the Alps they find that Peter has sent them a bottle of cognac "with love", while Tom's friend Kyle has sent them a Thunderstick A-200 sex toy. When Tom tries to force the toy's American plug into the European outlet, he shuts down the entire village's electricity.

Andrew Beckett – Philadelphia (1993) Andrew Beckett – Philadelphia Source: TriStar Pictures. Inspired in part by the real life case of Geoffrey Bowers, Hanks gives an Oscar-winning performance as Andrew Beckett, the Ivy-educated lawyer whose employment is terminated when his law firm discovers he has contracted AIDS.
Elle Woods – Legally Blonde Source: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Some might argue she’s flighty or vacuous, but Elle Woods is the kind of sharp, sweet, hip-swinging lawyer that just brings a smile to your face. I am pretty certain a lot of young girls went to law school solely because of this film.
