Matt joined the firm in 2003, coming from a successful solo practice originally established in Edmonds in 1996. He effectively balances the legal, practical and ethical considerations present in every legal matter to ensure his clients achieve their objectives on a timely and cost effective basis. Matt’s transactional and litigation experience allows him to bring a seasoned perspective to every deal and dispute. Matt serves a variety of clients; from individuals to privately held business organizations of all types, and prides himself on being able to translate complex legal issues into everyday language.
Matt is active in his church, serving as its Treasurer for five years and acting in its annual Christmas presentation. Matt also volunteers as a Special Olympics basketball coach. Among his personal interests, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities such as camping, cycling, and golf.
