The mission of the Family Support Division of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is to promote family self-sufficiency and the well-being of children. We work to connect parties with the King County Superior Court to establish parentage and child support, modify and enforce existing child support obligations, and to connect parties with community resources. We strive to exercise our mission with equity and compassion and be focused and deliberate in our creation of policies, procedures, and practices that are anti-racist and non-discriminatory.

The Records Project provides free legal services to vacate eligible King County criminal convictions for individuals that are at or below 200% of the federal poverty line. A vacated conviction is removed from public background searches available to employers and potential landlords. Our goal is to reduce barriers to employment and housing created by convictions.
