Actually the Verizon speed tests are almost always the accurate test results because it was meant for testing fios. speedtests site can give ping errors, you can run into several bad servers, etc.. You have to run tests on several servers on speedtest to get an estimate of what you are really getting.
Simply put, the Verizon internet speed test is too unreliable to produce any meaningful results. While the test loads quickly, looks pretty good, and runs on a secure site, the functionality of the test itself falls flat.

What's a good internet speed for working from home? We recommend a minimum of 50 to 100 Mbps download speeds for working from home, and at least 10 Mbps upload speeds if you upload large files to the internet.

Only 12 hours after modem reset. Nothing is wrong with my cabling on my apartment but god damn your service and cabling outside is shit. Hope you get what you deserve on the March 16th hearing.
So. where to begin? back in September of 2020, I switched to Optimum's Altice One Gigabit service and my speeds are nice, I will admit. BUT, ever since they gave me this crappy Ubee Altice modem and router 2-in-one BULLCRAP thingy, I cant access my administrative settings.
Hi everyone. the last couple of weeks my internet has been running really slow. when i do a speedtest i’ll get 200mbps but when i try to load a page it takes a minimum of 30 seconds. i’ve tried everything to fix the problem on my end but nothing worked. is this a sign of a data leak somewhere in my house?

We are new customers of optimum, for about a week. Yesterday we had some trees removed in our yard and the internet cable got removed accidentally. We told optimum and they said the first appointment would be Sunday (two days later) from 10a-8p.
Well I upgraded to a disaster. No one knows how to fix my DVR issue. From the second the Altice mini boxes were installed No one has figured out how to fix error code DVRBE-403. At least 10 calls to customer service, went to optimum store for help, and they didn't show for 4 service appointments. At a loss as to what to do.
