In many ways, Iris is what Dahlia merely pretended to be. She is meek and polite to a fault, and has been manipulated multiple times into haphazardly assisting in various crimes, mostly by her twin sister and once by Godot.

Matt is the first and, so far, the only defendant in the Ace Attorney franchise that was ultimately found genuinely guilty and earned a guilty verdict rightfully. He is one of three main villains not to be in law enforcement or a government official, with the other people being Dahlia Hawthorne, and Simon Keyes.
According to the Gyakuten Saiban 2 Shinsō Manual, Franziska has an older sister who is the mother of said granddaughter.
The relationship between Phoenix and Maya is extremely unique in that they are everything to each other. They were, after all, quite literally made for each other. Their perfect chemistry was carefully constructed by Shu Takumi to tell a story and no one can replace or replicate them.
Early brainstorming suggestions for Phoenix's name included "Cole" and "Wilton", but "Phoenix" was chosen as a name that would "stand out". The nickname "Nick" (used by his partner, Maya Fey) was chosen based on its believability and similarity to the sound of "Phoenix".
Phoenix has only had one girlfriend in his life: Dahlia Hawthorne. And that was basically the textbook definition of “unhealthy relationship.” Phoenix became dangerously obsessed with her, she tried to kill him, and he was secretly in love with her sister the whole time.

It is one of the longest episodes in the Ace Attorney series to date, spanning three investigation chapters and seven trial chapters and having the player carry more evidence in the court record than in any other episode in the main series of Ace Attorney games.
Before the trial could start, Gant had a proposal to make. He wanted Lana to be the first to speak, and it was accepted. Lana confessed to the murder once more , wanting the trial to end and even forfeiting her right to have an attorney. The judge agreed, and was about to give his verdict when Edgeworth objected, claiming he hadn't proven the defendant guilty yet. Something must have happened behind the scenes to make the defendant suddenly confess again. He called Ema to the court to testify, but Lana objected. Lana's objection was overruled, and Ema testified about the time she witnessed Neil's murder.
Officer Mike Meekins then arrived and attempted to give Edgeworth a file relating to another case, but Edgeworth dismissed him, merely shooed the officer away. Per Edgeworth's suggestion, Wright and Ema headed to the police department. Out front, Wright noticed a "dancing machine" and someone dancing by its side.
Episode 5: Rise from the Ashes is the final episode of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. An extra episode for the Nintendo DS version of the game which also saw an international release, it was not present in the original Japan -only release on the Game Boy Advance.
When the trial began, Meekins was the first to testify. It was proven he entered the evidence room twice, and the judge asked for an explanation. He said that the first time, he put the Blue Badger inside the room. The second time, he went to move the Blue Badger out of the room, but he was confronted by a man who was apparently Goodman. Meekins told to the court the same story he told to Wright on the previous day, then presented a video of what went on, and it corroborated his story. The face of "Goodman", however, was not visible, making it unclear whether the real Goodman was in the evidence room or in the parking garage with Lana. Moreover, the video in fact showed that the rubber glove had become trapped in the door lock, deactivating the fingerprint sensor and meaning that it wasn't necessarily Goodman who had opened the locker. Wright asked to question Jake Marshall, saying that they should hear from him as he was the person in charge of the evidence room, and Edgeworth agreed to the request. The judge called for a recess.
In response, Gant agreed to tell Wright only one thing: the ID number of this second victim. Using the ID number provided by Gant, Wright concluded that the murdered detective was apparently... also Bruce Goodman, as the ID number of the evidence room victim and that on Goodman's police badge were identical.
She said she had done it all by herself, including moving the body. She said she had done so because there were broken jar pieces on the floor, which would have led back to Ema. However, Wright pointed out that Ema's name was written in blood on the jar. If the jar had been broken by the time Lana found it, no one could have written Ema's name on it after it broke.
