Trial witnesses Episode 5: Turnabout Revolution is the fifth and final episode of the main story of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice. Taking around 12 hours to complete, it is one of the longest episodes in the Ace Attorney series rivalling Rise from the Ashes in terms of length.
According to a leaked roadmap (translated here), Ace Attorney 7 entered pre-production back in 2019, with main production kicking off across 2020 and 2021.

Ace Attorney is a strictly linear series, so there aren't any branching storylines or anything. Losing a case is just your standard Game Over state, prompting you to continue from your last save.
The relationship between Phoenix and Maya is extremely unique in that they are everything to each other. They were, after all, quite literally made for each other. Their perfect chemistry was carefully constructed by Shu Takumi to tell a story and no one can replace or replicate them.
Early brainstorming suggestions for Phoenix's name included "Cole" and "Wilton", but "Phoenix" was chosen as a name that would "stand out". The nickname "Nick" (used by his partner, Maya Fey) was chosen based on its believability and similarity to the sound of "Phoenix".

Under Mia's guidance, Phoenix finds that the receipt with the bloody message dates the light stand's purchase as the day before the murder. Edgeworth attempts to extend the trial further, but Mia forces White to confess his guilt by threatening him with a list of White's blackmail victims.
Phoenix (younger self voiced by Jill Harris) is believed to have stolen the money and put on a mock trial, where Edgeworth and Larry defend against the class's accusations. Later that day, Edgeworth helps Phoenix and Larry find the owner of an abandoned dog that Larry had come across.

Grossberg identifies the victim as Robert Hammond, a former lawyer in his firm who served as defense attorney for the DL-6 Incident, a 15-year old case surrounding the death of Edgeworth's father, Gregory (Anthony Bowling), that led to the disappearance of Maya's mother, Misty.
Will Powers (Chris Rager), the star of the television drama Steel Samurai, is arrested for the murder of his co- star Jack Hammer, who portrayed the show's villain. Deciding to defend Powers, Phoenix and Maya visit the show's studio to interview witnesses and search for evidence.
