How To Request An Advisory Opinion. Any person may request an advisory opinion from the Registry concerning the application of Kentucky’s campaign finance law to a specific transaction or activity. An authorized agent of the person requesting an advisory opinion may submit the advisory opinion request, so long as the identity of the principal is disclosed.
