At this advanced stage, it will take substantial effort by a lawyer who specializes in foreclosure defense to have the sheriff's sale (and possibly the judgment in foreclosure) set aside. And you have no time to waste.

In order for an attorney to answer your question, you need to share the reason why you were seeking to postpone the sale. In many PA counties, a motion filed on the eve of a sale may not be heard by a judge prior to the sale, particularly if the motion was not filed as an emergency filing.

Normally, a Chapter 7 is not very useful in stalling a foreclosure except for a very short period of time. You need to discuss your ultimate objectives with an attorney who can give you specific advice.
