Be aware, however, that each legal case is different and that a lawyer who is right for someone else may not suit you or your legal problem. Are advertisements a good place to look for a lawyer?
Start by pulling up a list of attorneys near you. Identify a few lawyers who have high ratings, mostly positive customer reviews and the required credentials in your state. Once you have a list of three to five potential attorneys you can hire, figure out how much they charge.

Find a licensed attorney who is willing to supervise your apprenticeship.
