For those applicants applying for the TTB federal basic permit or brewer’s notice online, the OOI Application can be filled out in Permits Online. Permits Online or PONL is TTB’s online system for drafting, submitting, and reviewing applications for new wineries, breweries, and distilleries (as well as for amending same).
Once the application is completed and submitted, a tracking number starting with the letters “OOI” followed by a dash and the year submitted will be provided. This tracking information is important to keep a copy of, as it will be required to be used when the actual TTB permit application is completed for your new winery, brewery, or distillery.
