On the screen that is playing, click on the 'Settings' button that is at the bottom-right side of the video player. Click on the rightward arrow next to Subtitles/CC (Closed Captions) on the small menu that pops up. To enable them (if they were not), choose the language you want. If you're using Crunchyroll from a web browser, you can change your subtitles directly from the video stream. First, click on the little gear icon near the bottom right-hand side of the video screen. If the subtitles aren't in sync, wait for an ad. Then once you play a full ad out of the six or how many ads you get, close out Crunchyroll and come back. It should work after that.
For anyone who comes to this thread looking for an answer, try hitting "ctrl+shift+r" (cmd+shift+r on mac) to clear the cache and reload. Seemed to work for me.
Why? Is it just me? I felt like it went from being the best anime streaming service to not. I just made a funimation account to see what they got and they have way more new choices. There was weeks where very little was being uploaded by them. Crunchyroll fell of man.
Everything else is fine now, except THAT episode. Not even one forum post about it either. Its been 3 days and still the "Oops! Something went wrong." Message appears.
crunchyroll is just absolute dogshit. It won’t play anything and when it does it buffers atleast every 10 secs. I honestly have not a clue on how this app even stays alive.
