Legal Recruiter Fails To Understand Hiring Process, Basic Social Conventions

BCG Attorney Search CEO, Harrison Barnes, unintentionally demonstrates all the reasons he shouldn't be in the hiring business.

Why was Harrison Barnes slammed?

One thing that has been left out but is the most obvious point is that Barnes probably got slammed on this one because the complaint that he broadcast on his own website was embarassing. Anyone with any knowedge of how these things work woud notice right away that Paul Berra drafted something that never really stated a cause of action. On top of that he asked for ten million dollars in damages and that alone would probably predispose the court to look at it as amateur and not entirely serious. It seems that Barnes constantly bragged about some great lawsuit to a lot of people both inside and outside his companies and based upon a story from American Maestro even tried to use his wife and family as excuses as to why he brought the case. It all looks like Harrison Barnes was just trying to come off to people looking like a tough guy and that was more important than the merits of his case and how to address the legitimate shortcomings of his company services. It is obvious that his unduly large but very thin ego was more the issue than trying to win a valid legal claim.

What is Harrison's legal recruiting company called?

It takes a singular sort of person to come up with what Harrison has come up with. First, he starts a legal recruiting company called BCG Attorney Search. He did not like recruiting, so he decided to go with a passive model and spend a lot of money on advertising to bring in candidates.

What is legal authority?

Many law firms, medium and small firms, (especially in this challenging economy) are seeking to find attorneys directly rather than using the services of a recruiter. Legal Authority customizes and improves an attorney's resume and cover letter and prints them according to your search criteria.
