Later, while Pearl's other half-sister Iris is accused of Misty's murder, Pearl confronts Franziska von Karma over her poor treatment of Maya, rendering her speechless, before once again channeling Mia to help Phoenix in court.
Pearl Fey, known as Harumi Ayasato ( Japanese: 綾里 春美, Hepburn: Ayasato Harumi) in the original Japanese language versions and Chūnměi Línglǐ in the Chinese language version, is a fictional spirit medium in Capcom 's Ace Attorney video game series. Pearl is featured as the main support character to the protagonist Phoenix Wright in ...
Along with the rest of the second game's characters, Pearl was designed and drawn by Kumiko Suekane and Tatsuro Iwamoto. She was designed with a variant of the clothes worn by her cousin Maya and the rest of the Fey Clan, typical for traditional Japanese spirit mediums, including a kimono and a magatama bead; the kimono design was altered compared to the source material, however, with the hem drastically shortened. Like with Maya, in situations when Pearl channels Mia's spirit, her design changes: her hair and clothing remains, while her face and body change, looking like Mia's, with the intent of emphasizing the difference in their bust sizes. Unlike Maya or Mia, Peal was additionally designed to express her emotions openly and freely. For Pearl's reappearance in Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice, she was given a subtly renewed design, consisting of slightly longer hair and an extra bead; before settling on the final version, the development team considered using a radical redesign, including a different hairstyle and colour scheme.
As a child, Pearl was quiet around strangers and would run from any whom she encountered. Even if a stranger greeted her nicely, or even if Maya herself introduced him or her, it took a long time to gain her trust.
Pearl's likeness, along with Apollo Justice, appears in the sport game We Love Golf! as an unlockable cosplay outfit.
Is Pearl really formally referred to as "Mystic Pearl" by the entirety of the Fey clan? I surmise that this citation should be altered to "by Morgan Fey in order to distinguish characters from formal titles and mere hyperbole (something with the "True Master" has stocked to the gills in economy-size trunks).
In the scene with Rifle in Dual Destinies, during Turnabout Reclaimed, we got to hear Pearl's voice....I am not sure about this, but, was that Kate Higgins (the voice of Ami Mizuno in the new Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon), voicing her? Because it sounded A LOT like Kate Higgins. QuasimodoBellringer ( talk) 17:02, February 22, 2015 (UTC)
Since Pearl was a witness and testified in Phoenix's non-canon DLC for SoJ, should we put her in the witnesses catagory? Of course it is non-canon so... ~ FenriDarkWolf ~ ( talk) 03:35, July 24, 2016 (UTC)
It's been a while since I played the Ace Attorney games, but why does the article say that Pearl is less powerful than Misty? And can I ask who would be ranked according to power (I know it's not conclusive, but I'm still curious): Misty, Mia, Maya, Pearl? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:409:8400:327B:7535:A29B:9872:B7E7 (talk) .
Hugh Toole is a 23 year old educator at the Japanifornia Elementary School and honorary judge who presides over all of Pearl's trials. Thanks to the likes of Phoenix Wright, recently lawyers have started to be held in high regard, and as a result the Japanifornia School District has started providing classes dealing in the Japanifornian law system, of which Hugh Toole is the teacher, making him the perfect candidate to act as judge.
Law Office and Khurain Village, Pearl Fey is separated from the stress of her home life and the dangers of Phoenix Wright's law job by being sent to Japanifornia Elementary School, as a way to relax and learn about the outside world in a safe environment surrounded by friends her age.
Clarka Kentwood is the victim of Turnabout Heroine and assistant to Pearl throughout Pearl Fey ~ Ace Attorney. 9 year old 3rd grader and peer to Pearl, Clarka Kentwood is a zealous fan of the recent brand of fictional lawyer-themed superheroes, the Seekers of Hope, whom she believes are real and are being channeled through her action figures. She is notably smug and confident in her demeanor, often tossing around lingo common for the characters in the The Seekers of Hope comics, a notable mixture of super-hero and lawyer quips. She and Vandal form a duality that play on cliches present in superhero v supervillain conflicts, but also tropes present heavily in Ace Attorney's lawyer v prosecutor conflicts.
Shamus Flatfoot is a Hall Monitor, being one of the two characters occupying the role of "detective", and is an 11 year old 5th grader . Shamus Flatfoot is, in his role, self-important and subtly condescending. He willingly adopts the persona of Golden Age detectives such as Sherlock Holmes, always with a peppermint pipe in his mouth, and going so far as to reference aforementioned detectives in the form of misquotes riddled with malapropisms and mondegreens.
Lexi Litha is the defendant of Turnabout Heroine, 11 year old 5th grader, and daughter of the Japanifornia Elementary School's principal, resulting in her becoming the self-proclaimed "princess of Japanifornia Elementary", using her relation to push others around. Lexi presents herself in a manner of regal grace, which is offset by her taking on the demeanor of a demanding, discontented aristocrat. Pompous and proud, she holds a disposition of constant superiority. She most notably targets Clarka, being the ringleader behind everyone's discrete bullying of her.
Fantine Payne is exclusively the prosecutor of Turnabout Heroine, and is an 11 year old 5th grader, peer to Shamus. She is the awkward, self-conscious granddaughter of Winston Payne, who attempts to mask her insecurities by emulating the demeanor of her proud prosecutor grandfather -- with much notable deliberation.
Percy Faux is known as a freak due to his obsession with the occult and supernatural, as well as his tendency to attempt to "curse" his peers. However, when various members of the student body have been victims of what seems like unnatural happenstance, the realization that these "accidents" happened in accordance with the curses Percy had placed on them caused the school to fall into a state of panic. Overcome with terror at Percy's now-proven supernatural abilities, the student body newly christened Percy a "witch", and he is brought up in the Japanifornian Elementary School Court, being charged for his hexes.
