There are two plans that have been designed to protect our members according to the membership type to which the member has been designated. Active Members may apply for the 'ABC' coverage that would protect them from any criminal, administrative, and civil matters arising from their performance of duties. Associate Members may apply for the 'BC' coverage that would protect them from any criminal and civil matters arising from their performance of duties, administrative is not included. Although the individual costs for these plans are usually $310 and $68 respectively, the Lodge is able to offer it at a discounted Group Rate. Below is a breakdown of the pricing options according to the plan for which the member would qualify.

The offense alleges acts or omissions that are later determined by a court of law or by a majority vote of the ALC Executive Committee, to be within the Member’s job duties as a law enforcement officer or in the performance of their primary assignment or certifications as a law enforcement officer; and.
The ALC will pay a bond premium for a bail bond up to a bond amount of $50,000 if a Member is charged with an Employment Related criminal offense. The Member is responsible to abide by all court orders and to take all action necessary to ensure that any and all refundable bond payments are refunded to the ALC.
The Arizona Fraternal Order of Police Arizona Labor Council Legal Plan, hereafter referred to as “the Plan”, is a self-funded legal plan established in partnership between the Law Offices of Yen, Pilch, Robaina, & Kresin, hereafter referred to as “the Firm”, and the Fraternal Order of Police Arizona Labor Council, hereafter referred to as “the ALC”. Duty-related refers to actions of the individual while performing his or her duties as a law enforcement officer. This includes the protection of persons or property from illegal acts while the Officer member is technically off-duty or working part time. Incidents are actual or alleged acts or omissions to which the Agreement applies. Incidents which occurred prior to enrollment are covered if the Officer member first had notice of a legal proceeding after the effective date of his or her enrollment in this Defense Agreement and Fusco and Macaluso, LLC or F.O.P. N.J. State Lodge were notified during the Agreement period.
The FOP Legal Defense Plan is offering HR-218 for FOP active and retired law enforcement officers. Legal Defense coverage will be provided for civil or criminal claims associated with the HR-218. The annual coverage limit will be $15,000 at a cost of $50 per participant.

Eligibility: You must be an FOP member in good standing, employed by a federal, state or local government law enforcement agency, or employed by a law enforcement entity operated by a private college/university, private railroad or Native American tribal government (with some restrictions).
Coverage: Blanket Employee Dishonesty Coverage – Insures for loss of money, securities and other property caused by fraudulent or dishonest acts of any employee against the FOP Lodge. Definition of employee includes all officers, directors, volunteers and committee chairpersons, whether compensated or not.
