The character artwork is taken from the caricatures by J. J. Grandville.
The game was developed by Sketchy Logic, and partly financed through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, raising £18,917 towards its development in January 2015. It was released for Microsoft Windows and OS X in December 2015.
Critical reception was generally positive, generating a score from the Metacritic merger website. Eurogamer recommends the game emphasizes the characters as written and with humor, providing fun moments and exciting revelations.

I was rewatching Jon's video on My Vet Practice and in the start he mentions that some people's first MATN video was his on the first game about guinea pigs. I attempted to search for this video and found nothing. Am I being thick or does this video not exist.
