In 1994 Drew ran for Attorney General and was elected. He was unopposed for re-election in 1998, and was re-elected with over 60% of the vote in 2002 and 2006. In 2010 he ran unsuccessfully for Governor and is now in the private practice of law in Edmondson Law Offices and also works through Edmondson and Associates Consulting, both located here in Oklahoma City.
