I have an upcoming interview for Geico - sales rep. position. I've noticed in the company videos that there don't seem to be any people working in the offices who are older than about 30 or so. If you can even get passed the over 40 questions on thier online evaluation, which is obviously a way to filter out thier apparent bias. Totally disappointed on thier hiring practices, especially for a company that grew from supporting government workers.

Geico is becoming notorious for this kind of thing. They seem to especially take issue with damage that occurs when the vehicle is unoccupied. Unfortunately, your best bet is to dance to their tune until they finally come up with a reason to deny the claim.

Take the car back from where? Just pay for the new tire and submit the claim to GEICO. They are entitled to the statement under oath if you want to pursue the claim. And this is a comp claim, unless they looked at the damage and it looks more like you hit a curb than got your tire slashed. Only you know the truth.
