The whole trilogy took me 105 hours on my first play through and that was probably because of how bad I was. That being said, the average case is 4-6 hours long with the tutorial cases being shorter and final cases much longer. So believe me, it's long.
Ace Attorney games are typically around 15-20 hours on the first time through without a walkthrough, so you'll probably be looking at 40-60 hours for the whole Phoenix Wright Trilogy. The second game is the shortest by far, though.

Will Powers is an actor best known for playing the titular role in The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo. He was the defendant in the murder of co-star Jack Hammer, being Wright's first client since taking charge of Wright & Co. Law Offices. He was also a witness for the murder of Juan Corrida.
Early brainstorming suggestions for Phoenix's name included "Cole" and "Wilton", but "Phoenix" was chosen as a name that would "stand out". The nickname "Nick" (used by his partner, Maya Fey) was chosen based on its believability and similarity to the sound of "Phoenix".
The game is the second entry in the Ace Attorney series, following Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. The story follows Phoenix Wright, a defense attorney who defends his clients in four episodes.
The downloadable story episodes, which are considered non-canon and frequently break the fourth wall, take place one year after the events of the game and feature Layton, Luke, Phoenix, and Maya returning to Labyrinthia for a visit.

While this is not the first time an Ace Attorney game has been officially released on a system that is not from Nintendo, this is the first time it has been released on a non-Nintendo home console system, as well as the first time a non-Japanese version has been released on PC. This release later added localizations in French, German, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, making it the first time since the Nintendo DS releases that these games are made available in other languages besides English and Japanese.
Initially released on the Nintendo 3DS, it is a graphical upgrade to the Nintendo DS and WiiWare versions of the trilogy, much like the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD compilation for mobile devices. The compilation also makes slight adjustments to localized scripts, including typo fixes.
The trilogy improves as it goes. Trials and Tribulations is so much more refined than the first game, removing much of the repetitive gameplay.#N#This is absolutely a visual novel, and the game suffers the worst when it plays more like a game. The investigation parts can be pretty bad or boring. This is the most improved aspect of the game over the trilogy. The final investigations are incredible.#N#The cases are usually well-written with one glaringly poor case. The twists and turns are exciting, and the final case really shows what's so special about these games. The characters and cases are both fantastic. Some of the best writing in video games. It's worth being played by any game fan.
A solid remaster of a great set of visual novel games. The Ace Attorney series is wonderful, and it was nice to replay the first 3 games with higher fidelity artwork, on the big screen, with trophies to unlock. The writing is great, the characters are charming and funny, and there are a lot of twists and turns in the stories. Each case has its own identity, and it's often impressive how well the mysteries are put together, and how they unfold. There are some minor issues of course, such as occasional leaps of logic and a couple of underwhelming cases, but it's largely very good.#N#The Ace Attorney Trilogy is great, and I highly recommend it. Just don't forget that there are three more games in the series, and a few spinoffs as well!
