Between Capcom's efforts and the equally amazing fan translation, it's really made me appreciate the enormity of the task when it comes to making these text heavy, puzzle based games palatable for a global audience. They really nailed it. All the characters are super enjoyable. The cases are extremely engrossing.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is a solid package, retaining the charm and entertainment of previous entries. It's not the series' best, but there's plenty to keep you entertained as you work your way through case after case.

The overall story is fantastic. Everything that the last game sets up gets resolved in a satisfying way. Episodes 3, 4, and 5 are some of the best in the entire series. With all of that being said, episodes 1 and 2 aren't anything special.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles sales numbers have, according to publisher Capcom, surpassed half a million copies worldwide. The game released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC in July 2021, meaning the game managed this feat just under nine months after launch.
Unlike previous games in the series, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles actually gives you access to the chapter select function right from the very start. Usually, you'd have to go through the story and solve the cases in order to unlock the next one, but that's not the case with this game.
The Ace Attorney series is a nice example of a fairly realistic game, even though the legal accuracy of Ace Attorney can sometimes be troubling, and the series can occasionally get things wrong about the law.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is perfectly at home on Nintendo Switch, its gameplay fun and engaging for players both new and old. Although it has one or two minor issues, the overall experience is one highly recommended to anyone looking for a new game (or three) to sink their teeth into.
According to a leaked roadmap (translated here), Ace Attorney 7 entered pre-production back in 2019, with main production kicking off across 2020 and 2021.

I heard good things about these games before playing them, but I never imagined they'd be so good! I loved every main character which is not something I can say about every game in the series. I really hope AA7 takes notes and learns from this amazing duology!
