Defense lawyer Phoenix Wright attends to the courtroom, despite losing at least a day's worth of sleep. Special thanks to everyone who helped make this little meme with me, especially to my boy Kyryzard for encoding all of this for me.
I think Edgeworth is playing Devil's Advocate. He summons his inner defense attorney and analyzes the case. If he can debunk it right there, then a skilled attorney should be able to do so as well. Many of Phoenix and Apollo's cases might never have gone to court if the police had looked at it with a second viewpoint.
Summary: Miles Edgeworth, a new but gifted defense attorney takes the first step on his path to truth and justice as a lawyer, defending his clients in battles of the courtroom alongside his assistant Franziska von Karma, and facing off against some familiar faces.
First of all, my friend, I ask you: aside from the saving Edgeworth plot and Mia's defense in 3-1, why did Wright become an attorney? Simple, all that remains is the class trial. Miles defense when no one believed in him, even though Edgeworth was the "victim", created a spark in Feenie, a spark about saving the ones that are in deep despair ...
Chief ProsecutorMiles Edgeworth is a Chief Prosecutor of the prosecutor's office. During his first four years as a prosecutor, he had a perfect win record in trials and was willing to do just about anything to get a guilty verdict for the defendant.
They became childhood friends after Miles stood up for Phoenix in a dramatic classroom trial, inspiring the latter to take up a career as a defence attorney. But their paths diverged, chiefly due to the trauma Edgeworth experienced when his father died—trauma that would fuel his relentless chase of criminals later on.Oct 4, 2019
20The most known of Phoenix Wright's rival prosecutors, Edgeworth became a prosecutor at the age of 20. His father was a famous defense attorney. As a child, Edgeworth aspired to become one, too. However, for reasons explained in the "Turnabout Goodbyes" case of the first game, he becomes a prosecutor instead.
Following the trial, Phoenix explains that Edgeworth motivated him to become an attorney after he defended Phoenix from a false theft accusation as children. However, Edgeworth decided to become Von Karma's pupil following his father's murder after being motivated by his hatred of criminals.
Phoenix has only had one girlfriend in his life: Dahlia Hawthorne. And that was basically the textbook definition of “unhealthy relationship.” Phoenix became dangerously obsessed with her, she tried to kill him, and he was secretly in love with her sister the whole time.Nov 1, 2011

Gregory Edgeworth was a very talented criminal defense attorney and his son Miles idolized him. Such was this adoration that Miles wanted someday to become a defense attorney just like his father, and even intervened in a class trial to defend an innocent classmate accused of stealing his own lunch money.
Name. "Edgeworth" may come from "edge of a sword", just like his Japanese surname " Mitsurugi " (御剣), which contains the kanji for sword. This may be a reference to both Gregory and Miles Edgeworth having sharp minds and being "worthy" opponents for Manfred von Karma and Phoenix Wright, respectively.
During his investigation into the crime, Gregory butted heads with Manfred von Karma, a legendary prosecutor with a perfect win record. As he and Shields became more involved in the case, he realized that von Karma wasn't just keeping him away from the scene because he didn't want the defense gaining any sort of advance; he was actively trying to hide something. Even Tyrell Badd, the detective who was supposed to lead the investigation, was continually stymied by von Karma's authority, and he eventually decided to ally with Gregory. Eventually, Gregory was able to figure out what von Karma was hiding; the body of the victim had disappeared before an autopsy could be carried out.
In 2009, the Ace Attorney franchise received its first spinoff title in the form of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. Fans rejoiced at the prospect of an entire game starring the fan favorite Miles Edgeworth, and it consequently fared well both with them and critics. In response to this positive reception, the game’s producer, Motohide Eshiro, revealed that he had contacted Minae Matsukawa. Ms. Matsukawa was notable for having served as the producer for the DS port of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney along with its distant sequel, Apollo Justice. The reason for Mr. Eshiro to have contacted her was straightforward enough; he offered his services in developing a new Ace Attorney game. This project would officially begin in September of 2009, and the developers went to a “training camp” of sorts to talk about the game for an entire day for the purpose of outlining it.
Specifically, his words echo the sentiments of Dahlia Hawthorne – the culprit of the first episode in Trials and Tribulations. When caught, she swore revenge on Mia Fey. Due to Mia’s unfortunate passing at the hands of Redd White, Dahlia never got that opportunity. This forced her to settle for a proxy revenge by attempting to kill Mia’s younger sister in “Bridge to the Turnabout”. The episode directly preceding it deftly built up to the climax by showing the player the true depths of her depravity.
