Jan 01, 2016 · On the 22 nd of December, one day after the game's release, the developer posted an update on the Aviary Attorney community page on Steam, warning users that one of the endings wasn't finished yet, but that they would be implementing the final ending “within the next few days.”. Those few days came as passed, and people who bought the game were still …
Jan 29, 2020 · Revolution is stirring. Murmurs of civil unrest hang heavy in the drawing rooms of the elite. Worst of all, a frog has been murdered. Enter Jayjay Falcon, a defence lawyer of the avian persuasion ...

Aviary Attorney is an Adventure Game about 19th-century Parisian lawyers…who happen to be birds. The game's art is based on the lithographs of 19th-century French artist J.J. Grandville, who was known for his caricatures of anthropomorphic animals. The soundtrack consists of music by Camille Saint-Saëns and some of his contemporaries ...
Gameplay is similar to that of the Ace Attorney series: you guide defense attorney Jayjay Falcon and his assistant Sparrowson through investigations of crime scenes and conversations with witnesses, gathering evidence that you can use while cross-examining witnesses in a trial phase.
Other characters' names are based on, but not identical to, their species names: Eric Porc the porcupine, Rupert Rabbington the rabbit, and Sparrowson the…sparrow. Then there's Séverin Cocorico the rooster, and the Demiaou family (who are cats).
Bait-and-Switch Comment: Seigneur Purrtoir set out to hire the best lawyers in town to defend his daughter — but they weren't available at such short notice, so he hired Falcon and Sparrowson because "Aviary Attorney" was first in the directory.
Golden Ending: 4B, "Égalité". The king escapes, the conspirators are the only casualties of the revolution, and their plot to turn it violent is foiled. Cocorico and Volerti vow to make up for their past misdeeds, and Beaumort plays an important part in the Second Republic. Paris is at peace, for now.
Cocorico's theme is based on the Gaillarde from Leo Delibes' incidental music to Victor Hugo 's play Le roi s'amuse. Léonie Beaumort's theme is the "Libera me" from the Fauré Requiem.
An Arm and a Leg: He is missing either his left or both his hands (it's never stated if his right hand is missing or if he keeps it tucked inside his sleeve). This becomes a plot point when he's framed for murder in 4C and a left handprint is found on the body.
A successful and pompous public prosecutor. Seems to have a love of philosophy and a hobby of humiliating Falcon. The Atoner: Formerly an Amoral Attorney, he's now devoted to justice. Badass Bookworm: A peerless prosecutor, more than capable of holding his own in a fight, and can quote Voltaire from memory.
Kleptomaniac Hero: Constantly grabbing trash and robbing witness, much to Falcon's bafflement. Lonely at the Top: Downplayed in 4A. Sparrowson's finally a lawyer instead of an assistant and a drop-out, but without Falcon by his side, he's not sure what to do with himself.
Judge Maxime is known for being attentive and even-handed. Accidental Misnaming: Can't be bothered to remember Sparrowson's name. Identity Amnesia: Believed he was an accountant for a short time after getting pushed into the Sienne. Put on a Bus: Vanishes after the first case due to "falling down the stairs".
And in keeping with Quierdo's role, it is a stereotypically Spanish piece of music written by a Frenchman.
Honor Before Reason: He views helping Falcon arrest King Louie as this, but he can't help but go along with it out of guilt. He also refuses to shoot first on Falcon in 4A , despite believing him to be the Viridian Killer and being in a duel with the guy that he has no interest in being in.

The two were living in hiding at the time, with Amara having abdicated the throne to her younger sister Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in eight years previously due to an assassination attempt and Dhurke being wanted by the Ga'ran regime, as he was believed to be responsible for the crime.
After the trial, Rayfa encountered Wright and Ur'gaid outside Tehm'pul Temple. She referred to Wright as the dead lawyer walking, but she was unable to take any pleasure in his situation. Her confidence in her abilities was shaken when she needed to depend on others to convict the defendant. In her eyes, she had failed in her duties as royal priestess. She snapped out of her depression when, to her astonishment, Wright told her that he would not let the verdict discourage him from investigating the new charges. He goaded her into joining him by pointing out that, if left unsupervised, a man in his situation might do something illegal in desperation. Telling herself that it was this type of chicanery that led her to misunderstand the high priest's mitahmah, she joined Wright's investigation yet again.
Nayna informing Rayfa about the Tome of Secrets.
Unbeknownst to anyone, the reason for her failure was because she was unaware that the victim's true name was not Puh'ray Zeh'lot. Thanks to a tattoo on the back of the victim's neck, he was identified as Rheel Neh'mu later on. Rayfa performed the séance again, successfully this time, and Neh'mu's final moments were revealed for all to see. It seemed to provide conclusive proof of Fey's guilt, but Wright disagreed. He told the court that he once heard that before the DC Act was passed the Divination Séance was considered to be just another piece of evidence that could be interpreted by both lawyers in a trial. Rayfa took issue with this, insisting that the séance only served to conclusively prove the guilt of the defendants. She provided her Insights, which Wright once again argued against. Rayfa did not back down easily, and even tried to use some of the forensic knowledge she had learned the day before as supporting evidence. But Wright was just as persistent, and eventually proved that Neh’mu died before the day of the rite when he was forced backwards into the Warbaa’d statue at the Inner Sanctum – the true scene of the crime.
The next day, when Dhurke was brought to trial for the murder with Ga'ran prosecuting and Justice leading the defense, Rayfa's mental state, coupled with the queen's oppressive treatment of her , caused her to have a nervous breakdown and collapse when attempting to perform a Divination Séance.
She explained to Wright that a person's true name and face are some of the most important things for a priestess like her to know, as without them, that person's mitamah cannot be contacted. She further explained that the same held true for the Khura'in royal family's most secret art: spirit channeling.
Rayfa was subsequently raised by Ga'ran and her husband, the Minister of Justice Inga Karkhuul Khura'in, believing them to be her biological parents. Amara took on the position of Rayfa's personal attendant in the guise of an elderly woman named "Nayna", taking care of the princess' basic needs; although unaware that Nayna was in fact her real mother, Rayfa developed a close bond with her as well as her adoptive father Inga. However, her relationship with Ga'ran was a complicated one.
